Anne Hathaway Walks Away From 'Vanity Fair' Shoot in Solidarity with Condé Nast Union Workers

Anne Hathaway is standing with the union workers at Condé Nast.

If you don’t know, on Tuesday (January 23), more than 400 workers under the brand, which includes magazines like Vanity Fair, Vogue and GQ, walked out of work in a 24 hour work stoppage. The reason for the walkout is ““unlawful handling of layoff negotiations and bad-faith bargaining,” CNN reports.

Anne happened to be taking part in a photo shoot with Vanity Fair on Tuesday morning in Los Angeles, and in solidarity with the striking workers, she too walked out.

National Board of Review Awards 2024 Show Brings Out Big Stars - See Every Celeb Who Attended!

Lots of celebs stepped out to attend the National Board of Review’s 2024 Awards Gala and we have all the red carpet photos!

Anne Hathaway, Zac Efron, Teyana Taylor, Bradley Cooper, and Jessica Chastain were just some of the stars who walked the carpet for the event on Thursday (January 11) at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.

All of the award winners were announced in advance, with Killers of the Flower Moon taking home the most awards with three wins, including Best Film, Best Director for Martin Scorsese, and Best Actress for Lily Gladstone.

NBC News’ Willie Geist hosted the gala and we gathered all the celeb attendees, plus the winners list.

Anne Hathaway & Anna Wintour Reunite for Broadway Cameo, Make 'Devil Wears Prada' Joke (Video)

Anne Hathaway and Anna Wintour are back together and they’re making Devil Wears Prada jokes!

The 41-year-old Oscar-winning actress and the 74-year-old Vogue editor-in-chief made a cameo appearance together in the Broadway musical Gutenberg on Wednesday night (January 10) in New York City.

Gutenberg stars Josh Gad and Andrew Rannells as two musical theatre writers who are putting on a reading of the new musical they wrote called “Gutenberg.” They joke in the show that there are Broadway producers in the audience and hopefully someone will want to produce the show by the end of the reading. At every performance, a celebrity makes a surprise appearance as the “producer” who agrees to bring the show to Broadway.

Anne and Anna were the guest producers on Wednesday and it was a hilarious moment, all of which was caught on video.

The trailer for Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain‘s new movie has been released.

The two Oscar-winning actress star together in the new edge-of-your-seat thriller Mothers’ Instinct from French cinematographer Benoît Delhomme in his directorial debut.

Based on the book Mothers’ Instinct: A Novel of Suspense by Barbara Abel, the movie follows “two best friends and neighbors whose perfect lives in ‘60s suburbia are shattered by a tragic accident involving one of their children. The story follows Alice (Chastain) and Céline (Hathaway) as their sisterly bond is gradually undermined by guilt and paranoia and a gripping battle of wills develops, revealing the darker side of maternal love,” according to Deadline.

Anne Hathaway Talks Scrapped 'Spider-Man' Role & How Losing That Project Opened the Door For Another

Tobey Maguire was originally slated to make a fourth Spider-Man movie and Anne Hathaway was attached to join the cast, but the film was never made.

Sam Raimi‘s trilogy of movies were released in 2002, 2004, and 2007, with the fourth movie scheduled for release in May 2011. The director dropped out of the film as he didn’t feel he could deliver the movie in time.

Anne was attached to play Black Cat in the film, but never got the chance to step into the character’s shoes. She told Variety that she never tried on a costume or even saw a script.

Thanks to the movie not being made, Anne says she got another exciting role.
