Every Concert Fan Incident of 2023, From Bebe Rexha to Pink to Drake

Fans may attend concerts for the music, but lately, it seems that others are going to concerts to give their favorite artists unexpected (and sometimes painful) surprises on stage.

It’s not an entirely new phenomenon: Woodstock ’99 featured of the more famous incidents involving concert mayhem when a truck crashed through Fatboy Slim‘s set, but since 2022, these issues have seemingly become more frequent.

Harry Styles paused one of his shows back in October 2022 after a fan threw a bottle at his groin. Fans also threw phones at Lil Uzi Vert back in July 2022 during a festival. The rapper threw one of those phones into the audience, and injured a fan in the process.

A few artists such as Charlie Puth have begun to speak out about the various issues that have occurred during shows. In July of 2023, Adele told her concertgoers, “I f**king dare you. Dare you to throw something at me and I’ll f**king kill you.”

So, what are these concert incidents that have been happening in 2023? Here’s a breakdown at what has happened…so far.
